Simeon Balabanov is highly trained in 3D modeling and rendering, with over 11 years of applied experience. Before joining Chaos Group, he worked as a CG supervisor at some of the biggest animation studios in Bulgaria. Since joining the Chaos Group CG team in 2012, Simeon has become one of the company's top presenters for V-Ray for 3ds Max and V-Ray for Maya. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Technical University – Sofia.

Chris DiGiovanni earned his production stripes at MTV, exceling in the fast-paced environment of New York City’s live action scene, before moving west to join Pixar, then an upstart. After Pixar, he became a production manager at Blue Sky Animation Studios, and in 2011, Chris worked as Assistant Director on “FREE BIRDS“ (Relativity). His most recent project was 2014’s “The Book of Life” – the Golden Globe-nominated feature produced by Guillermo Del Toro and Aron Warner (Reel FX Animation Studios).

Christian Reski started his career studying computer science, before switching to digital arts in 2003. After graduating, he co-founded Spooky Cecile Media Productions that focuses on 3D animation for TV advertisements and motion graphics. Over the last ten years, Christian has worked with agencies such as DDB, BBDO, and Scholz & Friends. He's also worked with Telemaz on projects for clients like Henkel, TUI, Merz Consumer Care and FAZ.

Sven Bliedung started his career in media design at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research in 2000; moving on to work as a compositing and dynamic simulations artist for feature films and commercials. Later, he joined with artists Benjamin Haagen and Michael Göbel to found VFXbox, which produces high-profile visual effects for well-known feature films. Sven’s work can be found in “The Raven”, “Marvel´s The Avengers” and “Cloud Atlas”.

Andrea Block graduated from AI, Filmakademie Ludwigsburg and founded two companies with her partner, Christian Haas – LUXX Studios (VFX & Animation) and LUXX Film (Development & Production). A VES member, Andrea works as VFX supervisor and producer for LUXX Studios and as Head of Development & Production for LUXX Film. Her work has appeared in major film and TV productions like “White House Down”, “Grand Budapest Hotel”, “Heroes” and “Cathedrale” ARTE.

Before joining Mackevision Stuttgart in 2013, Christian worked as a freelance digital artist specializing in shading and lighting. He worked on several award winning movies and TV shows such as “Hugo Capret”, “Oblivion” and George Lucas' “Redtails”. Christian also worked with the Game of Thrones VFX team on seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5. This year he won a VES Award for Best Created Environment in a Commercial, Broadcast Program, or Videogame for Game of Thrones: Braavos Establisher.

David’s animation life started in Seattle and Denmark, where he studied digital graphics and CG animation. In 2008, he founded the professional training and networking lab of Anomalia, inviting top animation artists from around the world to deliver specialised advanced courses on various animation topics and production experiences on non-profit short film projects with top industry veterans from studios such as PIXAR, DreamWorks, VALVE, Aardman, Blue Sky, Disney and the like.

Stéphane Paccolat grew up in Martigny, Switzerland. In 2008, he moved to France to study CG Animation Direction at MOPA (Supinfocom Arles). His graduation movie "Home Sweet Home" won the "Best computer animated short" at SIGGRAPH 2014 and was nominated at Cannes in the category Cinéfondation. He is currently working at Illumination Mac Guff as a Lighting Artist for the "Minions" movie.
